Eating food is an adaptive behaviour that has been selected for over time. This is because if early humans did not eat in the savannah, they would die and be unable to pass on their genetic material.
As a result our cognitive architecture is structured around food as the basic unit, and we naturally think in terms of food. 'You are sweet', 'That left a bitter taste in my mouth', 'That was delicious' etc.
Because of this I've been experimenting with a way to harness my innate food-oriented psychology in the way I approach my life. Here's is how I am currently planning my day.
